When I first started my career in photography, I fell in love with High School Senior portraits. They allow my soon-to-be graduates to be themselves, show off their skills and put my creativity to the test and if you've ever done a Senior Session yourself, they are always a lot of fun! When Megan messaged me a few months ago asking for graduation portraits,

I thought, "Well...this is something new and exciting!"

Megan is graduating from Drury University with her Bachelors! I have never been asked to do graduation photos for a college student and now that I have done them, I want to know why they aren't as popular?! Graduating College is an AMAZING accomplishment and should be on the must have checklist for photo sessions throughout your life time. I am proud to say that I have photographed two College graduates in the last month and I am

thrilled with the results. I spent an entire weekend in Springfield, Missouri doing what I do best. We woke up at 5 a.m. determined to catch the early morning sunrise for the start of Megan's session. We shivered and hugged our coffee mugs since April didn't get the hint that it was suppose to be a little warmer this time of year. Megan and I walked Drury Campus capturing each of her favorite locations and we couldn't help but favor Drury's wide variety of blooming trees and flowers. We shot everywhere from the Library to the courtyard and ended our session in Downtown Springfield.

Not only am I extremely proud to share such an incredible milestone with Megan, I am proud that my very own cousin trusted me with such important memories. Congratulations Megan! You are an Inspirational young woman with a bright future and I can't wait to see where your next step takes you.
